“… Stefano Giust, an executive at Varaschin, an Italian furniture company, said he visited Tehran recently and struck a deal with an Iranian distributor to sell his outdoor
furniture in the country. He said the distributor has an Italian bank account and will pay the Italian company in advance when it closes deals with customers.
“We meet a lot of people and many were interested,” he said. “I don’t know yet how many will turn into real contract but I see potential.”
