Born in Lugano in 1975, after graduating from the Higher Institute of Architecture and Design in Milan Alessandro Dubini continued his studies at the Higher Technical Institute in Fribourg. In 2000, he graduated in engineering with a focus on architecture and opened his own studio in Como in the same year. His work, which ranges from design to architecture, art direction to concept design, art installations and communication, is intuitive and eclectic, characterised by elegance lightened by playful notes, original research applied to materials and the use of innovative technologies.
