Materials

The legs are available in aluminum or solid iroko wood.

The structure of the back, made of powder-coated aluminum, is covered by a handmade weaving. The rope used for the cover is made of polypropylene, a synthetic fiber which is made stronger by a polyester core situated on the inside; the different-colored threads of which it is composed create an optical mélange effect.

The seat is filled with open cell Dryfeel® foam, designed to be used outdoors. The cushion cover of the seat is removable.

The structure is weather and UV resistant.

Monica Armani
Monica Armani, architect and child of artists, was born in the leading centre of the Italian rationalist movement. In the family studio, she was trained according to the principle that the equation of detail is the primary point of reference: shape, function and technologies are refined to achieve the best possible balance, in a synthesis represented by her manifesto 'Design in Molecules'. Industrial design became the natural extension of this experience.
