Christophe Pillet
designer \ Christophe Pillet
Born in 1959, Christophe Pillet, one of the most important French designers of his generation, has been living and working in Paris since 1988. He graduated from the Decorative Arts School in Nice in 1985 and completed the Domus Academy specialisation course in Milan the following year. He then collaborated with Martin Bedin and subsequently with Philippe Starck.
Since 1993, he has undertaken an independent activity, establishing himself both as a product designer, interior architect and set designer.
Being firmly convinced that design should not be limited to the single object, he promoted the idea that the designer should be in all respects a “lifestyle specialist.”
