Four differently colored synthetic fiber tapes cross to give shape to the weaving of the Maat armchair.
The design of the structure combines legs and back in a single surface, which narrows slightly under the seat to maintain greater stability. Maat invites you to relax outdoors, at home as in hotels, at the spa or in lounge areas, characterizing the rooms with its unique style.
Materials
Powder coated aluminum frame with handmade synthetic fiber weaving. Cushions with draining Dryfeel® foam padding, suitable for outdoor use.
Fabrics & Finishes
Urban Grey or Color weaving.

Designer
Philippe Bestenheider
Born in Sion (Switzerland) in 1971, Philippe Bestenheider graduated in architecture in 1998 from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich and worked with a number of studios in Switzerland and the USA. In 2000, he completed a specialisation course in industrial design at the Domus Academy in Milan, where he was subsequently invited as workshop leader.
From 2001 to 2006, he was senior designer at the Patricia Urquiola's studio in Milan, working with companies such as Moroso, Molteni, Agape, Alessi, Axor, Pallucco, Fratelli Boffi, Frag and Nilufar Gallery. His style combines Italian creativity and Swiss rigour, resulting in unique designs.
