A sturdy structure wraps the back of the Babylon armchair. On it develops a weave from armrest to armrest on vertical lines. At the ends two large handles allow you to grasp the seat to move it easily.
From the home garden to the outdoor area of the glamorous venue, the Babylon armchair creates the right mood to experience the pleasure of the outdoor space.
Materials
Structure in painted aluminum, covered in hand-woven synthetic fiber twisted rope.
Seat and back cushion with removable covers, padded with Dryfeel® open cell foam, suitable for outdoor use.
Weatherproof and UV light resistant structure.

Matt grey metal structure and hemp weave.

Designer
Giopato & Coombes
Born in Treviso in 1978, Cristiana Giopato graduated in industrial design from the Polytechnic University of Milan and later in architecture at the IUAV University of Venice. After an internship at Makio Hasuike's studio, she collaborated with Patricia Urquiola until she opened her own studio with Christopher Coombes.
Born in Bristol in 1979, Christopher Coombes graduated in Industrial Design from Brunel University in London. After moving to Milan, he worked for George Sowden and later for Sebastian Bergne, gaining expertise in the industrial design field.
