Designed by the architect Kondo Takuya, Studio AE, the buffet room of the Okura Kobe Hotel contains all the sober and essential elegance characterizing the Japanese modern style and design. Located in a 35-storey building, the Okura Kobe Hotel offers numerous panoramic views, from one side over mount Rokko, while on the other over the urban landscape of Kobe City, with the Kobe Port Tower, symbol of the city, and Harborland.

To furnish the buffet room, characterized by linear geometries and neutral tones, he chose the Clever dining armchairs, with grey aluminium frame and hand-woven backrest in Grey Brown rope. An ideal solution for convivial spaces, not only for their comfort – thanks to the wide seat and welcoming backrest – but also for their manageability and versatility.
